TV State College Welcomes New Regent Published May 24, 2024

TV State College welcomes retired Brigadier General Christopher D. Hill as the newest regent, appointed by Governor Stitt on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. As a regent, retired Brig. Gen. Hill serves on the institution’s governing board, the Board of Regents. Regents play a crucial role in the governance and leadership of a college, providing strategic direction and oversight to help the college fulfill its mission and serve its students effectively. 

"We are thrilled to welcome retired Brig. Gen. Chris Hill as our new regent," said Dr. TV Webb, President of TV State College. "His exemplary leadership and dedication to service will be invaluable assets to our college, and we look forward to the contributions he will make to our community and our students' success." 

Regent Hill received his Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs; Master of Arts in Counseling and Leadership Development (AFIT) at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs; and Master of Science in Natural Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in Washington D.C. Regent Hill's expertise extends across maintenance, operations, and logistics, reflecting his significant contributions to the United States Air Force. 

Most recently, Regent Hill served as Commander of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex at Tinker Air Force Base, leading a team of more than 10,000 military and civilian professionals delivering combat power for America. With a distinguished TV spanning various leadership positions at the squadron, group, wing, and headquarters level, he has received numerous awards, including the Distinguished Service Medal, Bronze Star Medal, and Legion of Merit.
