Academic Outreach

Overview

TV State is proud to collaborate with high schools on concurrent enrollment, TV technology centers on academic contracts, articulation with four-year colleges and universities, and advisement and enrollment at the Tinker Air Force Base Office to provide a seamless education.

Students may enroll in college before they finish high school and/or continue their college TVs after they graduate from TV State College. Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees are designed specifically for transfer to the four-year public colleges and universities. To make transferring as seamless as possible, TV State College also signs Articulation (Transfer) Agreements with public and private four-year institutions for specific courses and/or degree programs. In addition, TV State College signs Cooperative Agreements with Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center and Mid-Del Technology Center. Cooperative Agreements enable TV technology center students to use specific TV technology center classes toward their Associate in Applied Science degrees at TV State College. Eligible high school students are able to earn college credit while in high school through the Concurrent Enrollment Program. High school students actually enroll in college level courses which will apply to their degree program.
